Elisa Martin

Elisa Martín Bragado is a Suzuki piano teacher in Santiago de Compostela. She was the first Piano Suzuki teacher in that area of Spain and has a big group of Suzuki families, teaching from beginner to advanced pianists. She is also an active chamber music pianist and performs at an international level with her duo and trio.

Born in Madrid, she completed his studies with Prof. Carlos Domínguez, achieving the Extraordinary Piano Prize. She completed with the highest qualifications her Bachelor’s Degree at CSMA (Conservatoire of Music of Aragon) with Iván Cítera and Miguel Ángel Ortega Chavaldas, continuing her post-graduate studies with Prof. Nino Kereselidze. She also studied at FU (Freie Universität Berlin) and developed her career in Germany.

Elisa has actively participated in a great number of piano masterclasses with many well-known professors such as Josep Colom, Imre Rohman, Andras Kemenes, David Kuyken, Frank Wibaut, Eldar Nebolsin, Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Alexander Kandelaki, Ángel Sanzo, Rita Wagner etc., and was a laureate of competitions like Hazen Piano Competition and Jacinto Guerrero.

Currently, she plays in several chamber groups such as Duo Gamma and Trio Mosaicos and has given recitals in Spain, France, Germany and Portugal. The Duo Gamma has recently recorded a CD for KNS Classical.

She finished all Piano Suzuki levels between Scotland and Spain with M. McCarthy, continues her interpretation studies under the guidance of Prof. Kennedy Moretti and is starting a PhD in Piano Pedagogy.
